I think that Dallas had a one of the best draft pick. Especially on day one grabbing RB Felix Jones who should help share the load with marion Barber. Both CB Mike Jenkins and RD Tashard Choice. Actually think the Chiefs had the bet through out the whole draaft. DT Glenn Dorsey and LT Branden Albert could become Pro Bowl players. CB Brandon Flowers was a great pick. RB Jamaal Charles was an outstanding selection who gives them breakaway speed. TE Brad Cottam, S DaJuan Morgan and WR William Franklin should see playing time as rookies. I thin Minnesota Vikings had the worst draft picks....with only a second-round pick preceding two fifth-rounders, weren't able to change the dynamics of their team much more. DB Tyrell Johnson should boost the secondary, and John David Booty will get a chance to add depth at QB.
Which team do you think had the best draft pick and who had the worst?
I like what the Cowboys and Chiefs did. I also think the Skins, Pats, and Steelers made out pretty well. I think the Vikes did well. I like Booty's upside. You have to add Allen in to the picture.
Worst - Bears!! No QB?? I feel sorry for their fans. The Packers took two Qb's. They now have 3 promising QB's and the Bears have none!
Reply:i think you should reconsider the vikings draft. they were able to land jared allen for their 1st and a couple 3rd round picks. he is a dynamic pass rusher who is already playing at a pro bowl level. he's only been in the league for 4 years also. i thought the jags paid way too high a price to get what is probably the 7th or 8th best defensive end in the draft. i did like the cheifs and cowboys drafts.
Reply:pats they should have had to wait tell the end of the draft to pick them cheaters.so they got way better than what they should have. and i can't say at this time who got the worse. no one they all have a chance now.but there is one kid in the draft that got shafted.by there being one less pick in the draft. thanks to the pats.
Reply:The Kanas city chiefs had the best draft pick they got what most people projected to be the top pick, number 5 overall and is arguably the best player in the draft in Glen Dorsey. they also got other key picks which will help them rebuild their franchise
Reply:Eagles did a great job with landing DeSean Jackson, but the worst pick was miami with Jake LOng, they need playmakers not linemen, they need linemen but not right now, they need great players that will make plays all the time, yeah they need great blockers but that can come later on
Reply:I think the Cheifs did the best, but Dallas did a good job taking what they needed at the best value. The Titans did horrible, getting no help for Vince Young, and I didn't like the Jags giving up so much for a DE that should have gone much later.
Reply:Best would be the Chiefs
worst Lions just because everything Millen touches turns to crap
Reply:Bears had the best
Vikings had the worst
Reply:The Skins getting Devin Thomas and Malcom Kelly was a steal.
Titans did a terrible job.
Reply:Best - Chiefs
Worst - Titans
Reply:I think the chiefs had a great draft too....if not one of the best by a bad team.
How Charles lasted as long as he did is beyong me. He didn't focus on football in the offseason until this past season and look at what he did? (he is/was a track star so he trained with the track team in college) He became much better at carrying the ball, breaking tackles and finding holes as the season went on. I think he will be a stud if he can stay healthy. Their first 5-6 picks are all going to be pretty good players in the NFL, not many teams can ever say that.
And no, MY NINERS had the worst draft in the league this year. Didn't address a single need with a player who will help right now and didn't fill a hole at the skill positions to groom.
Total waste of time. Why even bother showing up? Next year, maybe they'll send (lisp-voice) Spency to do the picks and we'll just draft based on spency's style.
The vikings had a decent day. Booty is one of the most accurate QB's in the draft and is a very heady player. Not a bad pick-up, especially in the 5th round. Tyrelle Johnson will be a stud and you cannot leave out Jared Allen...he is the reason they had so few picks. They added a pro-bowl defensive end who not only brings you double-digit sacks, he plays the run very well too.
He is worth the picks if he can stay healthy.
