Would you still like your favorite band if the members were jerks?

I used to like the Killers but Brandon Flowers would start fights and trash talk other bands and it made me not like them anymore.

Would you still like your favorite band if the members were jerks?
Yeah, the killers pissed me off with that one too. Well, yes I would still like my fave band, because:





1. I AM NOT A STALKER


2. No, I don't read "Celebrity Stalker" weekly.


3. Hehe, the reason I said those things were because, people who keep up with these things and get mad because, "OMG, JOE HIT BOB!!", "NO WAY!!!" See, it's pointless and they follow up with these things because they have no other way to amuse themselves. I think, whatever the band wants to do, let them do. I would not respect them as people, but I would respect them as musicians.





I don't care because I listen to their music, not their lives.

Reply:idk.... if i found out that the guys of mcr were as.sholes in real life i would prolly be upset..... i might listen to some of their music still but they would no longer be my fav band.... next in line: panic at the disco......
Reply:i wouldnt like my fav band if they turned into jerks... part of what makes them a good band is their personalities... if their personalitie read JERK so would their music.. and for me im not into that...

I didnt even know what they looked like...


I fell in love with a couple of their first released songs... and then I downloaded the album, and THEN i researched the band.. and it was a bonus that they were all *ffing cute.


but the music is the real reason they are my fav. band.


Otherwise... i won't like them.

Reply:luckily, nobody in MCR are jerks at all. If they were, I wouldn't like them nearly as much but their music is awesome no matter what. :)

Reply:As long as they produce good music and don't harm anyone I'm fine. The members of my favorite band are great guys, so I don't have to worry about that!
Reply:I'm sure that a lot of the bands that I listen to have jerks for members, but as long as it doesn't interefere with the music, I've got no problem with it.
