Anyone else think that Brandon Flower's (The Killers) wishes he were Freddie Mercury (Queen)?

Anyone else see the similarities? I saw The Killers in concert a few months back and totally got the feeling Mr. Flowers' is definintly a Queen Fan!

I have also seen them in concert and they are deffinitely very similar. Many people beleive that he is bisexual, "Andy, your a star" and "Somebody told me" both are considered to have a bit of sexual ambiguity and his make-up in the Mr. Brightside video... he is a very flamboyant on stage and almost demands energy from the audience, much like Freddy but is still a little toned down and has a little less of the flare that Mercury possessed.
Reply:no i don't see any similarities.
Reply:I don't think Flowers wishes he was Mercury. I haven't seen The Killers live, but I don't think his persona is as "over the top" as Freddie was. Flowers is certainly charismatic and commading, but surely that's necessary for a singer in a rock band. There's definetely an 80's influence in The Killers music, but it obviously works for them, because they're selling lots of records.
Reply:Lol, you never know.
Reply:Yeah! I have thought that and he reminds me alot of Elton John with his constant changing - guess he can't figure out what he wants to be. One thing for sure - he can't strut around like Mercury did!
Reply:I think he was influenced by good ol' Freddie some. I doubt that he "wishes" to be another lead singer who dies before their time.

Yeah, I was draw to the Killers because of the blatant Queen tributationess.

Is that a word? Hmm....
Reply:I am totally with you on that one!
