Question for LDS: What do you think about the band The Killers?!?

I read that the lead singer, Brandon Flowers is a devout Mormon. Do you think he is a good example for your religion or not? What do you think about some of their lyrics?

I really enjoy their music.


We really dont need examples for our religion, as I see it. If we try to live like anyone- aside from jesus, we set an imperfect standard for ourselves- we would be happy with less than we could be.





I especially like the song Why do I keep counting- it just seems so honest and almost like a prayer.


I also like Sams town (the song) it is just a great summary of how I feel sometimes- the world we live in is so imperfect, I see how great it could be, and yet here we are-

Reply:I am not a mormon, but what some mormons may do or say does not speak for all mormons.
