Did i make good picks in my draft this was my first draft. Im the flowers?
Yeah that's not a bad team. Tom Brady should be your starting quarterback. I have Hasselbeck on my team and he will actually be my starter. Shaun Alexander if he stays healthy and Clinton Portis are both good running backs, and Reggie wayne is a great receiver to have. Issac Bruce and Mushin Muhammad are both a bit old, and i would keep and eye on them before you start them. There are a lot of good fantasy sites that you should be able to look up stats and fantasy news for your players.
Good luck, and you may want to think about changing your team name. It is a bit uh how you say...gay!
Reply:I probably would have snapped up Ronnie Brown, McGahee or Benson in the second round. You probably could have waited on a QB until the 3rd or 4th. You should have easily gotten Brady in the third round. Personally, I would have easily waited until 6 or 7 for my QB in a 10 team draft. Brady's good though and Portis is a decne 4th round pick. All in all you did OK.
6th is waaaaay early for a defense but you probably saw that other guy take Baltimore and got scared. No biggie. You still came out with a decent team. Hasselback is a great backup. And don't ever pick a kicker before round 12 unless it's Vinatieri. Once he's gone, they are a dime a dozen. I got Rackers in the 15th round in my draft and he's on a high scoring Arizona team. He should do just as well, if not better, than most kickers drafted earlier.
Reply:Yay that was good for your first time only mistake might be picking the Chicago defense in the sixth round because they aren't going to be a dominant as they were last year. And they might get killed this week going up against LT and the chargers.
Reply:Pretty good. I like your QBs. Good RBs. Alexander is going to have a good year this year after his injury last season. WRs are strong. I think you are deep here which is good.
Kicker is a solid one. Why two defenses though. Both are great def. I like them very well but you should have used one of those picks for depth at RB or TE. Shocky is a great TE and Manning likes to hit him in the redzone.
Reply:Uhhhh... No. Even for your first time, you made a lot of mistakes. You took a defense in the 6th round, and a KICKER????? in the 9TH ROUND????? What are you thinking? No, what was half your league thinking? Why did you all draft kickers in the middle rounds? You probably could have waited on Brady, and Issac Bruce is what, 65 now? However, I do like Brady (not in 2nd round) and Wayne, and Alexander at 6 was a good pick. Just next year, don't draft a kicker until the last round (and give that advice to the rest of your league).
