How do you feel about The killers new CD, Sam's Town? That is if you like the killers and own the cd.....?

I love it, I think the Killers are one of the best bands ever, their so orignal. I was just wondering what other people thought of it. It's allot different from Hot Fuss, But just as good, in my opinion.

yah i love them too they definetly changed from Hot Fuss To Sam's Towns but both of them are standout! and ROCK!!!! they're different from any other band, truly, and thats what makes them so great
Reply:I friggin' love this album. When an artist (or artists) have a mega-successful first album, it is so easy to fall into the formulaic trap of trying to rehash what people loved about the first one. They dared to branch out in a different direction and I respect them for that.





I thought the first album was great. It was reminiscent of the Cure, U2 and a that whole 80's/Brit Invasion sound with a twist. Great album! Having said that, I think this new album is even better. They give you a touch of what you were expecting and then jerk it away from you and do something different. Song for song, I like this album way more than the first. It has more substance than the first.

Reply:I loved the Killers even before their debut of the album hot fuss. I don't really care for Sam's Town, I think their just trying out different sounds and vibes. It's totally different from hot fuss, which I thought was awesome. I just think sam's town is an average song for them, they could have done better to me. But still and enjoyable album. I'm looking for another hot fuss type of album.
Reply:yeah i love it too. its different from hot fuss but thats why i love them cuz their different. hot fuss was great so i ran to get sam's town. their just a great band so they make great music.
Reply:i'm loving th killers right now and you're right. theyre style of music has chnged a lot but i think change is good. the cd rocks
